Everyone needs them to mark time–family portraits are so important! If you are looking for an Omaha Photographer, you cam to the right place. I look back on my life (I’m an Omaha photographer who’s quickly heading toward the dreaded “middle age”), I regret that I don’t have more family photos to look back on from my childhood. Honestly, I don’t know why we don’t have more family photos, maybe it just wasn’t a priority for my parents. I often work with folks who are happy to have their family portraits created, but I don’t think that many of them grasp the legacy that they’re helping create for their children and grandchildren, and likely long past that. I know several friends who have pictures of family going back several generations, many back to the 19th century. These days, not only am I an Omaha Family photographer, but most importantly, I’m a mom. Knowing that I wish I had family pictures to look back on as a fond reminder of my younger years, I work extra hard to assure that my girls will have plenty of great images to help rekindle the memories of their youth. I’m so thrilled and honored when Omaha families ask me to help them build a legacy through photography for them and their family for generations to come. If you’ve not had family photographs taken for a while (or, not ever), please, take the time to call me a great Omaha Photographer now to set up and appointment, you’ll be glad you did!
As a Nebraskan, what an incredible time this was!
Being a Omaha photographer, you never know what kind of opportunities will present themselves! I recently had the pleasure of being invited to take pictures for a special event at the Nebraska Governor’s mansion. Needless to say, I’m not exactly a regular in that location. I was honored to be invited to take these photographs. As you can probably see from the look on my face, I was fairly giddy with excitement! Though I work with newborns, infants, kids and families on a daily basis, this was certainly a unique experience. Setting up my equipment in the Governor’s living room was definitely something new for me. With my studio in Omaha, I know exactly where everything is at and how the light works, whereas setting up in a new space with only a short time to prepare provided some challenges. In the end, it turned out wonderfully and the images of all the attendees with the Governor and Coach (Dr.) Osborne look great. The Governor was a very, very gracious host and a great time was had by all!
If you have any events that you’d like professional portraits taken for, please don’t hesitate to give me a call. Though I spend a great deal of my time working with newborns, kids and families, I also have the privilege of providing my services at professional/corporate/non-profit events providing professional portraiture. I’ll try and post some of the other images from that night, there were quite a wonderfully happy, smiley faces that I was able to capture!
Remember…when you are in a once in a lifetime moment, make sure you capture it with photography. Contact me, your Omaha Photographer 402.916.9300
Meet Martha!! As an Omaha Photographer, I just adore her! I hope this never gets old and I never start to take what I do for granted. Being an Omaha photographer for newborns, infants, kids and families, I’m truly blessed and amazed daily at the love that I have the opportunity to witness. Back when I began providing my photography services to folks in Omaha and the surrounding area, I would have never imagined how life changing it would be. To witness the love that little Martha’s parents have for her is wonderful. Though I see it daily, it’s always like the first time! I had a great time working with little Martha and her parents. She was such a great newborn photography model. I look forward to photographing her as she grows. I hope to have the opportunity to photograph her in some family pictures as she grows and I can only imagine how fun it would be to take her senior pictures some day! Martha’s newborn photography session so much fun is that her parents were very intentional about what they wanted and where and how they were going to display the images of this little beauty in their home. They felt like having the (in my studio) to see what an actual sized portrait would look like on their wall was a big benefit for them. I’ve found as an Omaha photographer that being able to help my clients truly ‘visualize’ what the final product will look like in their home is a real asset to them. I really appreciate Martha’s parents putting their trust in my ability to capture such an important point in the life of their brand new, beautiful daughter! Remember…time is fleeting, make sure you capture the moment.
Meet Martha!! As an Omaha Newborn Photographer, I just adore her! I am enjoying seeing the older names making a come back! Seeing the delightful connection between parents and their newborn babes is one of the many wonderful benefits of being an newborn photographer. Watching the ‘new-baby’ love that both of Martha’s parents have for their new addition was inspirational, they’re obviously both head over heels for her. What a treat it was to work with them! When her parents brought sweet little Martha in for her newborn session, what a great time this Omaha Photographer had. Omaha photographers (like me!) love to work with magnificent, beautiful Omaha babies like this. To assure that you capture your newborn in the best phase for newborn photography, it’s helpful to make sure you’ve arranged your appointment before your new treasure is born, that way your session is guaranteed. It’s so much fun to work with families like these who really understand the importance of committing these first few days of their child’s life to film, and entrusting that responsibility to a professional photographer. Of the many photographers in Omaha, Nebraska, I’m certainly the most blessed. It’s Newborn photography Omaha style!
